As the result of an anticipated retirement, effective late March of 2026, the City of ATKINS, IOWA, is now accepting resumes for a full-time Public Works Director/Water/Wastewater Superintendent. This position will provide supervisory oversite for the daily operations of the Public Works Department, as well as overseeing all aspects of the City’s Water and Wastewater facilities.
LICENSE AND OTHER REQUIREMENTS:
Wage range from $42.00 to $45.00 per hour DOQ.
Anticipated start date preferably not later than March 1, 2026.
Benefits available include medical insurance, paid vacation, sick leave, holidays, bereavement leave, and IPERS retirement benefit.
