Picker and Packer

We are seeking dedicated individuals for a Picker and Packer role Monday through Friday. Join our team-oriented environment where you will be responsible for packing boxes according to specified packing lists and box sizes. You will operate at a packing station, packing products into boxes, weighing them, taping, labeling, and placing them on pallets for shipment. To keep the work engaging, your tasks will rotate between packing, taping/labeling, and palletizing throughout the day. Experience with machine operation is advantageous as you may be required to operate a steady-type packing machine.

Responsibilities:

• Pack boxes according to packing lists and box sizes.
• Operate at a packing station for packing, weighing, taping, and labeling boxes.
• Place packed boxes onto pallets for shipment.
• Rotate between different tasks such as packing, taping/labeling, and palletizing.

Essential Skills:

• Ability to work well with others.
• High School Education.
• Ideally 6 months of experience in warehouse, picking, or packing.

Additional Skills & Qualifications:

• Good communication skills.
• Safety conscious.
• Ability to follow written work instructions in English.
• Must be able to pass a safety test after watching a safety video.

Work Environment:

The work environment is very nice and team-oriented. You may need steel-toed boots, eye protection, and hearing protection depending on the building conditions. Eye and hearing protection will be provided. Expect to work with a steady-type packing machine.

Job Type & Location:

This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Agawam, MA.

Pay and Benefits:

The pay range for this position is $18.00 - $18.00/hr. Eligibility requirements apply to some benefits and may depend on your job classification and length of employment.
