Job Description Job Description Century Group is partnering with a client that is seeking a Junior Accountant to assist their team. Exact compensation may vary based on skills, experience, and location. Expected starting flat pay rate of $30.00 per hour. Job Responsibilities: Process accounts payable transactions accurately and in compliance with policies. Review invoices and payment requests to ensure correctness and proper documentation. Generate and distribute checks and electronic payments promptly. Maintain vendor files and resolve payment issues efficiently. Complete monthly close processes and upload journal entries to Dynamics. Requirements: Demonstrate proficiency in Excel, including creating and managing pivot tables. Possess experience performing bank reconciliations and account reconciliations. Show ability to prepare daily cash reports and corresponding journal entries. Exhibit familiarity with uploading journal entries into accounting systems. Understand non-profit accounting principles and practices. Qualifications: A Degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field. Bring prior experience in accounts payable and general accounting functions. Communicate effectively and work collaboratively with internal teams and vendors. Manage multiple tasks and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment. Apply strong attention to detail and problem-solving skills in daily work.
